James Franklin fired; CFB's revolving Top 25; Jets are a dumpster fire
Penn State finally did it and fired James Franklin. The move feels overdue at this point and Franklin finishes 15-30 against top 25 teams. Speaking of, it doesn't feel like the college football top 25 has bounced around as much as it has this season, but we're absolutely here for it. This weekend, four ranked teams fell to unranked teams in what's become a trend this season. To the NFL, the Jets remain astonishingly bad after an all-time terrible offensive output in London and Drake Maye continues to be an absolute weapon at QB. To bring it home, the Brewers make their return to the NLCS and in the WNBA, the Aces make light work of the Mercury to continue their run of championship dominance.

Texas and Penn State fall to unranked; Ravens code red panic mode; MLB divisional round in full swing
College football saw some major upsets this weekend! The Arch Manning experiment has quickly led Texas out of the top 25, while James Franklin already can't win the big game and now lost maybe the easiest one. In the NFL, the Ravens are in panic mode after another loss and the Eagles are handed their first L of the season behind an unfamiliar offensive gameplan. Also, Drake Maye is really freaking good, man. The MLB divisional round kicked off with the Brewers beating the pulp out of the Cubs and the Yankees quickly in big trouble against the Blue Jays.

Virginia upsets #8 Florida State; Packers vs Cowboys get this year's first tie; Dart wins, but loses Nabers; Bama ends Georgia's streak; Penn State still frauds in big games
The college football rankings are getting a workout this season as upsets continue to stack up. In the NFL, the Packers are having trouble putting away bad teams, but no one has it as bad is the Titans, or dare I say the Ravens, after four weeks. The WNBA finals are upon us and a huge late game rally sets the table for this years Finals.

Packers get embarrassed; Rodgers and Raleigh climb record boards; Colts are not to be messed with; Hurts propels Eagles’ second half comeback
What a weekend of football! From nine non-offensive touchdowns being scored in the NFL, the most since 2020, to a 330 pound fella running record speeds to return a blocked kick for a touchdown. Hell, we even saw Carson Wentz start a football game again and actually do fairly solid. Over to baseball, Cal Raleigh sets the Mariners all-time home run record and Trout rips his 400th base knock.

Rodgers Climbs All-Time Leaderboards; Burrow-gate; Heisman Hopeful QBs Get Exposed
To some, he's "12." To others, he "8." No matter which number, Aaron Rodgers is playing with mojo again and continuing to cement his legacy. Also, it's time a full investigation is launched on the Bengals for seemingly intentionally always giving Joe Burrow a garbage offensive line and then it always resultling in him getting hurt. It's Andrew Luck 2.0. But I digress. In college football, Arch and Lagway fall flat while another SEC QB assumes the throne.

NFL kickoff did not disappoint; lots of college football upsets; Phillies Karen WTF
It's pretty clear after one week that 1) Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson will be MVP front-runners again and 2) the Bills and Ravens are the dominant AFC teams. Speaking of dominance, there was an absurd amount of FBS teams scoring 70+ this weekend. And speaking of absurd, "Phillies Karen" can never again show her face in public again after going viral for all the wrong reasons.

CFB IS SO BACK; Micah Parsons trade; Happy trails Lee Corso; Schwarber MVP push
Oh brother has it been crazy in sports lately, THANK YOU FOOTBALL!! Not only was Micah Parsons traded, but we were awarded a hall of fame slate of college football! Numerous potential top 10 QBs were in action, highlight reel catches galore, a couple hit sticks were delivered, and some not so expected outcomes. Not to mention a heated MLB playoff race!

Brewers can't lose; Numerous MLB records were set; Training Camp updates; News around sports
This weekend was full of MLB records, but still headlined by the Milwaukee Brewers clearing out anyone in their path. NFL is staying busy with Training Camp buzz, while McLaren also makes headlines with reaching a massive milestone in F1

Kurtz so good; Training camp has arrived; MLB inductions; Brewers alumni Derby
Praise be to the football gods, NFL Training camp is back in full swing and the overreactions are obviously running rampant. We're so back! In other news, the A's have an absolute star in the making and the Brewers had a better home run derby than All-Star weekend.

Brewers on fire; NFLPA in shambles; WNBA shirts & CBA; NFL over/under release; Hornets are champs
No new Coldplay concert scandals to note, so over to baseball where the Brewers are dishing out the business to everyone in their path. Meanwhile, the WNBA and NFLPA are having some toxic moments, and more NFL news is happening by the day. You can almost hear the Sunday Night Football intro song in the background.

Texans broke rookie contracts; Judge fastest to 350; Angels botch MLB Draft
You know football is right around the corner when hold outs start happening, college players are in hot water, and a Browns rookie is getting arrested. But baseball is still having its moment and the Angels absolutely botched theirs at pick two in the draft.

Joey Hotdog does it again; Durant seven team trade; Gronk's TE G.O.A.T.; MLB All-Star snubs
We're coming off 4th of July weekend and we all know what that means.. Home runs were hit, glizzies were gobbled, firework shows played to Katy Perry's Firework, and I'm starting to lose my skull without football.
