Rodgers Climbs All-Time Leaderboards; Burrow-gate; Heisman Hopeful QBs Get Exposed
To some, he's "12." To others, he "8." No matter which number, Aaron Rodgers is playing with mojo again and continuing to cement his legacy. Also, it's time a full investigation is launched on the Bengals for seemingly intentionally always giving Joe Burrow a garbage offensive line and then it always resultling in him getting hurt. It's Andrew Luck 2.0. But I digress. In college football, Arch and Lagway fall flat while another SEC QB assumes the throne.
15 WEEKEND HEADLINES. 15 BOTTOM LINE THOUGHTS. 15 WORDS OR LESS.
Top Story
Aaron Rodgers ties Brett Favre for fourth all-time in passing touchdowns with number 508; does it with 237 less interceptions.
1) 8’s got swagger this season and Pitt’s offense has (some) potential. Next up: #5 all-time passing yards

NFL
No Ben Johnson, no problem; Lions hang 50 on the Bears in first face off against former OC
2) The Bears are absolutely cursed and Johnson’s offense sputters along as Caleb’s struggles linger.
Cincinnati Bengals once again neglected the offensive line and Joe Burrow once again hits the IR; QB hits the shelf for three months with turf toe
3) COLOR ME SURPRISED! It’s Andrew Luck 2.0. The Bengals allocation of funds is malpractice. Launch investigations.
Oh look the Bengals once again put a trash oline in front of Joe Burrow and he gets hurt

Dallas Cowboys barely escape New York Giants in combined 984 yard effort; walk it off 40-37
4) Brandon Aubrey might be the greatest kicker ever. And shocker.. a Parsons-less Cowboys defense sucks
Indianapolis Colts walk off field goal comes in dramatic fashion; beat Denver Broncos 29-28 after brutal penalty that would have ended it
5) Danny Dimes and the Colts look GOOD. Easily the best looking AFC South team.
Broncos got called for a “leverage” penalty on the initial field goal so the Colts got to kick again and won the game 😳

Cam Ward’s first career touchdown pass is an absolutely absurd one
6) For being the latest #1 pick, Ward doesn’t get enough love. This play/throw helps.
Rook to rook! #Titans QB Cam Ward somehow finds WR Elic Ayomanor for a TD. What a crazy play.
Sidenote: Ayomanor is legit. Learn the name.

Philadelphia Eagles passing game looks amateur and struggling to get its star receiver involved
7) In no world should A.J. Brown’s 2025 be a one catch game and five for 27.
Behind swinging gate offensive line, JJ McCarthy and Minnesota Vikings offense struggles; fall 22-6 to the Atlanta Falcons in primetime
8) Let’s be very honest.. JJ McCarthy has played one good quarter of football so far
Falcons Defense on Sunday Night Football:
6 Sacks
2 interceptions
5 Tackles for Losses
4 Passes Defended

Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar chucks for 371 and four touds on Georgia’s defense but Vols come up short; fall to Bulldogs 44-41 in shootout
10) Aguilar started 14-14, WOW. The Appalachian State transfer is suddenly a top SEC passer
Florida Gators QB DJ Lagway had an all-time horrible game with 5 interceptions; Gators disappointingly fall to 1-2 while Lagway’s Heisman candidacy crumbles
11) Lagway now owns two touchdowns to six interceptions verse ranked competition in 2025. Not great.
DJ Lagway threw this in triple coverage

12) It feels like two strangers walked into the party and no one knows their vibes.
Notre Dame falls to 0-2 but becomes first team in 37 years to remain ranked after that start; lands at #24 on latest AP rankings.
13) Completely undeserving. As if people needed more reason to be skeptical about the rankings system.
USF falls to #4 Miami and kicked out of top-25 after two victories over ranked teams. Meanwhile, Bama keeps shooting up rankings after beating unranked teams
14) More proof the ranking system is more about strength of brand than strength of schedule.
