Collective Banter: Introducing Annual Fan Awards

The Daily Banter Collective is just getting started and one of the most exciting features as the community grows has the legs to be a mainstay.

Sidelinr Sports is excited to share with this newsletter community the first news of the annual Fan Awards, determined by our Patreon and newsletter communities!

Fans might not actually determine league MVPs, but we’re certainly going to treat and promote our fan voted awards as if they do!

Because why shouldn’t fans have more say in voting for league award winners? Why should it be confined to a few writers or media personalities who time and time again make it seem like they don’t even watch games?

But hold up now, it doesn’t stop there…

Throughout a league season, inside of our Daily Banter Collective fans will also participate in shaping rankings for various positions, units, team-based voting, moments, and more!

Because, again, why should rankings be confined to some random person at a media outlet or even worse, determined by AI models.

This latest feature update builds on Sidelinr’s commitment to be the most fan-involved coverage in sports by introducing fan-involved voting and rankings all year round.

These updates will tear through our socials and make noise among other fans, letting them know that yes indeed their voice can be heard to determine the best of the best in their favorite sport(s).

So, bring your fantasy league and get in as a first 100 member to earn your $1 price tag for life and be ready to have your voice heard when the first polls launch!

Here’s a sneak peak at some awards you can expect to participate in across every league:

FMVP

Fan MVP. Pretty simple but gets the point across.

Gamebreaker of the Year (GOTY)

Offensive player of the year.

Neutralizer of the Year (NOTY)

Defensive player of the year.

Sidelinr will soon be regularly gauging our community for feedback on voting, so make sure to sign up and have your say!

As fans trickle into our Patreon, as NFL season kicks off, and as Sidelinr launches the full product suite, including the full website, show (Chalk Talk Social) and blogs, voting will start to carry serious weight inside our community.

The quicker the community grows, the more conversations there will be, and the more Collective Banter breakdowns to be had.
