Lane Kiffin departs Ole Miss for LSU with all the dramatics as one could expect from Kiffin. Known as a program hopper, Kiffin created last minute theatrics around finishing the season with the team and proceeded in attempts to poach his staff on the way out, ultimately leaving the Ole Miss coaching staff in flux heading into playoffs.

1) Sell out move. But Kiffin gonna Kiffin. “Can’t turn a hoe into a housewife.”

Josh Allen becomes the all time leading rushing touchdown scorer among QBs with number 76 coming in a 26-7 win over the Steelers. James Cook continues his dominant season with 177 all-purpose yards in the effort.

3) Josh Allen’s greatness is undeniable but the Bills are still difficult to buy in on.

The Bears run it down the Eagles throat with 281 rushing yards in 24-15 win to move into first place in the NFC. Eagles fans cry out for OC Kevin Patullo to be fired despite Sirianni’s continued backing. Kyle Monangai continues to be a steal of the 2025 draft for Chicago.

4) The Eagles have Super Bowl talent with JV play calling. The Bears, man.. they’re rolling!

Joe Burrow returns and immediately get the Bengals into the win column with surprising 32-14 win over an improved Ravens. Burrow slings for 261 and two touchdowns in his return despite Tee Higgins sidelined. Ravens turn the ball over five times as speculation looms larger around the offense. Cincy isn’t out of it yet…

5) The Ravens offense is failing everywhere and reminder that healthy Burrow is still unreal.

The Packers bring out the brooms on the season series against the Lions after 31-24 victory on Thanksgiving. Jordan Love moves to 3-0 on turkey day, Dontayvion Wicks had a legacy game, and Parsons notched another 2.5 sacks to continue his best season yet. The Lions offensive line and play calling continues to drag down the once Super Bowl favorites.

6) When the Packers don’t beat themselves, they’re as dangerous as anyone. Love is a sicko.

The Vikings find themselves in quarterback hell after 26-0 shutout loss to Seattle. Minnesota had gone 294 games without a shutout and now have back to back games with QBRs lower than if they had just spiked the ball every play. Max Brosmer tosses four INTs in first career start.

7) Minnesota is really about to waste Diggs/Jefferson back-to-back. Clock’s ticking. Should have kept Darnold.

DeAndre Hopkins becomes the 18th player in NFL history to snag 1,000 catches, the fourth youngest to achieve the milestone despite less involvement the past few seasons.

8) Truly an anticlimactic climb to 1,000 but Hopkins’ prime was first ballot dominance.
