Virginia upsets #8 Florida State; Packers vs Cowboys get this year's first tie; Dart wins, but loses Nabers; Bama ends Georgia's streak; Penn State still frauds in big games
The college football rankings are getting a workout this season as upsets continue to stack up. In the NFL, the Packers are having trouble putting away bad teams, but no one has it as bad is the Titans, or dare I say the Ravens, after four weeks. The WNBA finals are upon us and a huge late game rally sets the table for this years Finals.
15 WEEKEND HEADLINES. 15 BOTTOM LINE THOUGHTS. 15 WORDS OR LESS.

The Steelers claim the NFL’s first victory in Dublin; take down the Vikings 24-21 behind huge game from Kenneth Gainwell
3) Gainwell balled out like an RB1, Rodgers was efficient as hell, Pitt’s o-line held up.

The Baltimore Ravens might be in serious trouble; fall to 1-3 after ugly 37-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar gets hurts and they started sitting Henry.
4) Lots of questions about Baltimore coming into it, now there’s 10x more. Chiefs heating up.
Patrick Mahomes is 6-1 against the Lamar Jackson led ravens.
Complete, and total domination.

The Cowboys and Packers dog walk each other’s defenses all game en route to a 40-40 score for the second highest scoring tie in NFL history; George Pickens and Romeo Doubs have career games
5) Love and Dak combined for six TDs, no INTs. Zero clutch gene from either defense.
Chicago Bears barely escape Ashton Jeanty’s breakout game despite Geno Smith’s three interceptions; beat the already pulseless Raiders 25-24
6) Bears offense and Caleb Williams looked mid (again) but a win’s a win. Geno is cooked.
The Titans are truly as bad as it gets; get blanked 28-0 by the Texans in the battle of the 0-3 teams
7) 190 total yards for Tennessee. Time to start scouting for the number 1 pick… again.
Cam Ward kept it real when asked about the Titans 0-4 start to the season 😅😬

Time to give Woody Marks the RB1 job in Houston; Texans rookie running back has become a bright light in a dark start to their season; goes for 119 total yards and 2 TDs
8) What’s a QB’s best friend? A running back who bodies dudes in pass pro.
Best pass blocker on the Texans is apparently Woody Marks. BURIED buddy

NCAA
#3 Penn State remains the ultimate frauds in big games with James Franklin; fall 30-24 to #6 Oregon in Big Ten Championship rematch.
9) Time to move off choke artist Franklin and have an honest conversation about Drew Allar
This is exactly why I don’t understand everyone being infatuated with Drew Allar being a Top NFL QB prospect. He always shrinks in big games

#17 Alabama goes on the road to upset #5 Georgia 24-21 to end their 33 game home winning streak; Kirby Smart falls to 1-6 vs Bama as the Bulldogs coach
10) Kalen DeBoer hasn’t been great for the Tide, but he owns Georgia. Now 2-0.
Kirk Herbstreit had some praise for coach Kalen DeBoer after Alabama's win over Georgia.
"If you're an Alabama fan and you've kinda been one foot in, one foot out on Kalen DeBoer, this is what Kalen DeBoer is."

#4 LSU falls to #13 Ole Miss 24-19; Lane Kiffin’s daughter dating LSU’s star linebacker pays immediate dividends (allegedly)
11) LSU’s Heisman hopeful and top QB prospect Garrett Nussmeier sucks vs SEC teams.
Garett Nussmeier in SEC games since taking over as starter:
* 6-4 overall
* 20 TD's, 15 INT'sThe sooner we stop talking about him as a first round pick, and start talking about him for what he is - maybe a 3rd rounder and career back-up - the better off we'll be as a society

#11 Indiana barely escapes unranked Iowa, winning 20-15; score game winning touchdown with 1:28 left to move to 5-0

MLB
The Atlanta Braves set an MLB record for most players used in a single season; Charlie Morton’s appearance brings their total to 71 different players now
14) Anyone asking how/why, it’s because of starting rotation injuries and a garbage bullpen.
WNBA
Phoenix Mercury advance to WNBA Finals after 19-2 scoring run to rally and defeat the Minnesota Lynx 86-81; make their first finals appearance since 2021
15) The Mercury eliminating both Finals teams from the previous season during the playoffs is absurd.
THE PHOENIX MERCURY ARE FINALS BOUND!!!
