And just like that, Sunday's have been lost to football all day again (well, almost). NFL news is heating up as training camp rolls into preseason and player contract disputes carry on with some big names wanting out. For the WNBA, they have a problem in the form of a green silicone item.

It was a relatively quiet week in sports in the final week without football until next February. But the Cowboys still managed to piss off their star, the Raiders straight up cut theirs, and there's a potential acquisition that fans are not excited for.

Besides the CEO of a major company getting caught having an affair with his recently appointed Chief People Officer (the irony) on the big screen at a Coldplay concert, things did indeed happen around sports this week.
